Thats right just when you thought the Skateathon was super fantabulous we went one step further and secured a 1999 Mustang 5.0 to raffle off!!! When you bring your 10 pounds of food or $10 you will get raffle tickets towards winning this awesomely divine car. Dominic Cusimano of 3D Construction has gone above and beyond for this event and Aptos Towing was kind enough to donate the car. Mickey Avalon and Machete Fight at the Catalyst Oct 23rd

As the holidays approach its hard to forget that 1 in 4 kids in Santa Cruz County are going hungry. Grind Out Hunger is the charity we started and we support it 100%. 2009 over 130,000 pounds of food was raised to help feed hungry children in Santa Cruz County. 2010 we want to double that to 250,000 pounds and we are 500 pounds closer.

Tarp Surfing legends Homer Henard, Omar Etcheverry, Chris Killen Seth Migdail, Dana “SkimShady” and DK pull some major Tarp Kegs to raise money/food for Grind Out Hunger special thanks to Timmy of Aloha Island Grille for the killah grinds!!! The Chesters for the video production and Black Tide for the song!

Special appearances by Luke Rockhold, Bud Freitas, Kyle Thierman, FujiTV (from Japan), Seth Migdail, Tyler Fox and many many more that made the day seriously out of control!!!

A night session was in order with the OG Tarp Surfers in a secret spot with perfect Tarp Shore winds…Ruse Entertainment was there to capture it all. Make sure to notice the angles…Shouts out to Homer Henard, Matt Rockhold, Chris Killen and Cole Kerby for pulling, filming and tarping!

On Thursday Steve Caballero did a guest appearance on The Morning Madhouse on KDON 102.5 to hype his art show coming up at The Abbey in Santa Cruz. SC family member Sam Diggedy and The Morning Madhouse radio host, asked the tough questions…did Cab really only wear his shoes once like it has been rapped about by The Pack? Friday comes and Steve Caballero’s art show was opening 5pm so we scooped up Sam Diggedy and headed over to check it out. The Abbey is a sweet little coffee shop tucked away off Highland street, the vibe seemed mellow and Steve was with family and casually chatting with people about his art.

I was amazed at all the different mediums Cab was creating. Stencil, Pin Stripe, Brush, Oil…had no idea he was so diversified in his talents.
